I started off saying, I’m the type of person that’s on or off, right? I’m like a light switch. And so if I start to say to myself, I’m the type of person that can take it or leave it. And that’s empowering. That’s an empowering statement, right?
You’re figuring out what works for you and your life, but I just want to encourage everyone to do that.
It is about ending the shame. It is about understanding that our brain is actually working perfectly to keep us in this state of safety and survival. Like that’s even the things that we think are negative are brain is leaving us to those because it wants to feel safe.
